Join us for our latest monthly wine tasting, where we open a range of bottles to explore a region, style or theme. We'll introduce 5 wines, taste and chat about them together. Some cheese & snacks will be provided, too. The tasting will typically take about 1.5 hours. After the tasting you're welcome to stay for more drinks & nibbles if you'd like (closing 10pm).
 
Wine Tasting - A Tour of Touraine

Situated in the middle of the lazy river Loire as it winds its way to the Atlantic the city of Tours has been a hotbed of natural, organic and biodynamic wine production over the past decades with winemakers refusing to lose their heritage, grapes and regional styles in the mad rush to commercialise the area into mass-produced sauvignon blanc or insipid sweetened roses.  It is here you can find vineyards growing all the grapes that the Loire as a whole produces, from the famous Cabernets and Chenins to the little known Grolleau and Orbois.
