The Trethowan brothers' first cheese, Gorwydd Caerphilly, is one of our all time favourite cheeses. When production was moved from their birth country of Wales to Somerset in 2014 - only 5 miles from the village of Cheddar - it seemed only fitting to add a traditional west country Cheddar to their production.
This is made in the old-fashioned way, clothbound with lard and matured slowly. It is creamy & dense in texture with a juicy, tangy bite and a long finish.
