Domaine de Veilloux, nestled near Cheverny in the quiet eastern part of Touraine in the Loire Valley, has been family-owned since the French Revolution. For six generations, the Quenioux family has worked this land. Nearly 30 years ago, Michel Quenioux and his wife Sylviane took over and transformed the estate into a model of organic and biodynamic viticulture. A passionate advocate for sustainable farming, Michel embraced these practices from the beginning and has spent decades championing organic winemaking and raising the profile of the Cheverny region.

The domaine spans 25 hectares, with vines flourishing in the vibrant, biodiverse environment Michel has carefully nurtured. Eschewing chemical herbicides and pesticides, he employs herbal infusions and biodynamic preparations to manage weeds and diseases naturally, showcasing the health of his soils and his deep commitment to ecological balance.

A striking balance of Sauvignon and Orbois, balancing the crisp acidity with the latter's richer oxidative flavour range giving a more powerful wine than one might expect from this region.  Aged in oak barrels for 10 months on lees, this wine strikes a great balance between fresh & rich, mineral & fruity.
